Pipeline

The deal pipeline at /deals, where every active deal is visible by phase, status, and attractiveness, in the view that suits how you are working.

Pipeline is the list of everything in flight. It is the page you start from and return to.

Questions this page answers

  • What are we working on, and what phase is each deal in?
  • Which deals need something from me today?
  • How do these deals compare against each other?

Views

The same deals are presented three ways, because the question changes with the moment:

  • Grid for scanning assets visually.
  • Table for comparing figures across deals in columns, with sorting and export.
  • Kanban for seeing the book by phase and moving deals between them.

Filters and grouping persist across views, so switching presentation does not lose your place in the set.

Phase and status

Every deal carries a phase in the acquisition lifecycle and a status. Phase transitions are governed, not free-form: a deal advances when its gate conditions are met. See Diligence & risk register for the gate itself.

Attractiveness

Deals show an attractiveness signal derived from their own data. It is a triage aid for deciding what to look at first, not a recommendation, and it is only as good as the data behind it. A deal whose data is still preliminary is scored on preliminary data and says so.

Creating and comparing

New deals start here, either from scratch, from a document set, or promoted from Prospecting or Listings.

Selecting several deals opens a side-by-side comparison on shared metrics, for when the question is which of these rather than what about this one.

On desktop

Opening a deal from the pipeline also opens the AI assistant alongside it, already scoped to that deal.
