Workspace
The workspace
A map of EQUIRE's surfaces, from where deals come from through where decisions get made, and which page answers which kind of question.
EQUIRE has two levels. Workspace pages are about your whole book: everything you are looking at, everything you own, everything that might become a deal. Deal pages are about one asset in depth.
Knowing which level a question belongs to is most of knowing where to go.
Workspace level
| Page | Answers |
|---|---|
| Pipeline | What is in flight, at what phase, and what needs attention |
| Portfolio | What the whole book looks like in aggregate |
| Listings | What is on the market that we have not looked at |
| Prospecting | What our mandates surfaced and what is worth screening |
| Intake | What arrived by email and has not been triaged |
Deal level
Every deal carries the same tabs, in roughly the order work moves through them:
| Tab | Answers |
|---|---|
| Overview | Where does this deal stand right now |
| Documents | What have we been given, and what is still missing |
| Review | What did extraction get wrong, and is the data releasable |
| Deal Data | Every extracted field, with its source and verification state |
| Rent Roll | Who pays rent, how much, and when leases roll |
| Market Research | What the submarket says, with sources |
| Valuation | What is it worth, and what breaks that |
| Diligence | What could go wrong, graded, and what is open |
| Meetings | What was said about this deal |
| IC Memo | The recommendation and its support |
| Deliverables | What goes outside the firm |
| Team | Who has access to this deal and in what role |
Asking instead of navigating
The AI assistant knows all of these surfaces. Asking it a question will often be faster than finding the page, and when the answer is better shown than described it will open the page for you and explain what is on it.
