Deal overview

The deal's front page, where headline metrics, custom dashboards, institutional memory, and assistant notes come together.

Overview is the first tab of every deal and the answer to "where does this stand right now".

Questions this page answers

  • What are the headline numbers on this deal?
  • What has changed, and what is blocking?
  • What have we learned about deals like this before?

The metrics strip

Across the top sit the figures a decision turns on: purchase price, discount rate, levered IRR, equity multiple, going-in and exit cap. They are computed from canonical read models, which is why they agree with the Valuation tab rather than approximating it.

Each metric discloses its basis. A number computed on preliminary data is labeled as such, so the strip cannot quietly present unreleased figures as settled.

Widgets and custom dashboards

Below the strip the page is composed of widgets you can arrange, resize, and choose. The set covers pipeline position, data quality, valuation summary, risk, documents, and activity.

Beyond the built-in widgets, you can build custom dashboards over the deal's live normalized data for read-only analytical panels that answer a question your firm asks on every deal.

Institutional memory

Overview surfaces what your firm has learned across deals: patterns from prior outcomes, and where this deal resembles or departs from them. See Firm memory.

Notes

Notes captured on this deal appear here, including notes the AI assistant took while you talked through the deal out loud. Each note shows how it was captured, and notes captured by voice are marked as such. You can delete any note from this panel.

Portfolio deals

A deal that is a portfolio of properties shows two additional panels: per-property ingestion status, and the assumption ledger that discloses how child-deal assumptions were aggregated into the parent, including how many children were released versus preliminary.
